How Full Are Your Cups?
Quiz: How Full Are Your Cups?
Thanks so much to those of you who have been following me in this project! It means so much to me, and it has been a true personal revolution to give myself the freedom to dig into horoscopes and spells each week. It means a lot to me that you read and share and comment, whether you do it directly to me or on the apps. So, thank you! Please continue to like and share, if you feel so inclined! <3
I made a short quiz (click on the image below to access it), which should take less than 5 minutes to access. It asks you some questions to get you thinking about the four cups in your life. Are they overflowing or stagnant and depleted?
The quiz is totally free and just meant as a check in. I don’t get access to your answers, and no sign up required. Access it below or at my new website (eep!) https://fourthcupastrology.com.
I am using the name Fourth Cup for my emergence into more public astrology because in the fall of 2025, when I pulled Tarot cards, the Four of Cups came up for me over and over. Alright, rude, I thought. But, it came up enough that I had to sit with it more.
This is the traditional Rider Waite image, where a young person sits, pouting, and staring at their three beautiful cups, believing they do not have enough, while they ignore the universe handing them a fourth cup:
This is the version in one of my favorite decks, the Chris-Anne Muse deck, which shows another young person, looking like a woman, who is also bummed about her three cups. She has three great cups, but are they enough? Why doesn’t she have more? And she doesn’t see that she is sitting inside of her enormous energetic cup, surrounded by her spirit guides.
This version of the card really made me stop and think. In what way was I putting all of my pressure on my three cups (what even were my three cups?) and ignoring the giant invisible cup?
To me, the three cups can be looked at in two ways (these are my ways and there are probably 100 ways to look at the cups). One way to look at them is the body, emotions, and mind (or gut, heart, and brain). Another way, that is consistent is the Ace, Two, and Three of Cups cards. The Ace is the emerging of emotion, which essentially is personal vulnerability. Then Two is about interconnectedness. The Three is about friendship and community. And so, we get to a similar place. We need physical safety and security in our bodies to be vulnerable. Our hearts and emotions connect us intimately to others. And our minds build friendship. Each cup builds on the last.
And, then, the fourth cup is the one dominant culture teaches us to suppress or to conform to the norms of religion, capitalism, or other oppressive systems.
When we are aligned in our bodies, emotions, and minds, and we access the power of our energy bodies or spirits, we can make true aligned impact.
There is no pre-set prescriptive way to do this that works for everyone, and what works for you is as unique as your astrological natal chart. The point is for it to work for you. The quiz is a starting point for thinking about how your energy is right now. Where are you overflowing and where are you depleted?
That was my journey to naming this project Fourth Cup. For me, I do written thought work every day, meditate and process my emotions, and make sure I do a fun boxing workout and take multiple walks. I know how to accomplish impossible goals, and also, I put enormous stress on those three cups, when my energetic cup is sitting right there, ready to make a more powerful impact.
Whether or not that resonates with you, I hope you are tending and caring for your cups! If you or someone you know would like to dive into their astrology and the personal magick of their cups, sign up for a consultation here.
